If the Pineapple block is on your “must try” quilting list - Deanna wants to show you how to get super accurate straight & square Pineapple blocks using a Bloc Loc ruler - not paper piecing! Come ready to create 12” finished blocks to incorporate into a table runner, a quilt or maybe just for fun. We’ll be using the 1” - 1/2” Pineapple Bloc Loc ruler. Fabric can be as simple as two contrasting solids or bring scraps to make the block more wild. I think after having fun and creating this block you’ll get bit by the bug and want to create even more. Free pattern from Bloc Loc will be shared (blocloc.com). We’ll have rulers in stock to add to your quilting tool chest!
Instructor will provide white fabric, student to bring colors. Total fabric needed is 82” at 1 3/4” wide PLUS 2 1/2” square for the center. If you want two colors as shown in the one sample, you’ll need 41” of one color and 41” of the other. Also two squares of your color 5 3/4” will be needed. Again if you want two colors, bring one square of each color.
Medium/heavy starch your fabrics and be ready to cut upon arrival.
All classes are cash or check. Sorry, no credit cards.
